HEKATE'S TEMPLE
This site installation was created for Persephone’s Roots, Ragged Wing's inaugural All Hallow’s Eve site-specific park ritual. This event led the audience on a mythic pilgrimage to honor Persephone’s journey into the Underworld and her reign as Queen of the Dead. Hekate’s Temple invited the audience to walk through a rope labyrinth to discover a central art exhibit of seven found-object sculptures relating to themes of death, winter and going under.
