Sometimes there's a hunger that fills you up. No matter what you eat, you're still ravenous. You try to maintain. Keep it under wraps. What does it want? What can you give it? More, it says. More. 

 

HUNGY is a series of paintings created for RWE's 2014 gallery show justRIPE, an exploration of food, sex and death. I honed in on the nature of hunger as a kind of need that grows stronger when it goes underfed.
